Notes

Three is the number of growth and expression. The trinity of life. In three we have man, woman, and then the child: seed, earth, and then the plant. Ideas are worked out in the mind and then comes the material result; #1 contains the idea; #2 the pair who can carry out the idea; and in #3 we have the fruits of the partnership or mating. Also present man's true nature spirit, mind, and body.
   - Eden Gray

The raven is thought to be the supernatural trickster through whose activities most of the universe's features came to be.
   - Steve J. Langdon
